Vista is a challenge for many audio software programs, due to higher latcency than XP. The main reason for this is that Vista has a default setting for power saving running at the lowest possible CPU speed.
When the ADIG Human Synchronizerô runs with the power save setting, latency can cause the software to have audio hickup problems at higher BPM settings.
To fix this :
- go to the Control Panel
- open Power settings
- go for the Maximum Performance option
Note that setting the Maximum Performance option will make the CPU run at full speed all the time. Beware that this might cause the machine to run hotter than normal.
